EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

“I often feel tired at work—could it be my high blood sugar?”

“I’m addicted to sweets! How to cut back?”

“I’ve tried a bunch of diets, none work and I’m 30 pounds overweight. How can I lose weight and keep it off this time?”

Your employees are asking these—and many other—nutrition questions. I have answers!

How It Works: I offer group lectures, workshops, and/or one-on-one counseling at your office.  Topics range from general healthy eating to weight loss, to disease prevention. Interested in exercise?  I work with some dynamite trainers who can join me to help your employees get moving! Let's discuss what topics are most relevant to your office.

What’s In It for Employees:

  • Reduced risk of obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and other diet-related conditions. (About 50 percent of cases of heart disease and type 2 diabetes could be prevented by a nutritious diet.)
  • Better management of these conditions.

What’s In It for Management:

  • A healthier, more productive workforce which could translate to higher profits.
  • Reasonable rates, because you eliminate the middle man.

About Me:  As a registered dietitian and adjunct professor at American University, I use science-based techniques to help people improve their diet.

My Rates:

Fees for interactive workshops, health fairs, or one-on-one counseling:

  • 1 hour:  $350

  • 2 hours:  $650

  • 3 hours:  $850
